Article: Why We Use Aloe Vera as the Base for Our Super Food Skincare Range

SCOUT Organic Active Beauty - Why We Use Aloe Vera as the Base for Our Super Food Skincare Range

Why We Use Aloe Vera as the Base for Our Super Food Skincare Range

Aloe Vera is nature's absolute hero skin treatment.

Today I want to explain why I chose Aloe Vera as the base for our skincare range instead of water as most brands do.

In fact, our skincare base goes well beyond nourishing Aloe Vera as each product also contains three native botanical ingredients - Davison Plum, Kangaroo Apple, and Dessert Lime.

These four powerful ingredients make up our Australian Super Fruit Renewal System and work synergistically to super-boost our skincare range.

However, today I want to focus on Aloe Vera as for me its benefits in a skincare product rather than water were 100% persuasive.

Benefits of Aloe Vera

  1. Did you know that our skin is naturally lipophilic (oil-loving) rather than hydrophilic (water-loving)? Aloe Vera is easily absorbed by the skin – 4 times faster than water and is a great carrier to deliver other nutrients and active deep into the epidermis.

  2. Aloe Vera balances the PH level of our skin proving it to be perfect for suspending the Active Native Australian botanicals.

  3. On its own, Aloe Vera has fantastic anti-inflammatory and cell regenerating properties due to it busting with fatty and amino acids, vitamins A and B, folic acid, enzymes, and proteins.

  4. It is known universally as calming, protecting, nourishing, and as a skin treatment for minor skin irritations.
I could go on but I think the message is clear - Aloe Vera is simply better for your skin than just water.

Using Aloe Vera as a base, together with our unique Australian Super Fruit Renewal System instead of just water creates a superbly nourishing, active formulation perfect for your skin.
