SCOUT is ‘free from’ the same long list of chemicals quoted below by other Australian nail polish brands (about 10 - 20), some of which are not used in any nail polish. In old fashioned terms our nail polish would be described as chemical free.

We are cruelty free, vegan and GMO free.

All our  Colour polishes, Quick Super Dry & Shine Top Coat  and 2 in 1 Base & Treatment polish are infused with Broccoli Seed Extract rich in Vitamins A, B, K, E and containing up to 100 times the antioxidant compounds of a Broccoli head, assists in moisturising and hydrating the nails through outstanding water retaining properties. 82% of ingredients are derived from everyday vegetables such as potato, cotton, corn and sugarcane.

Bamboo Isoflavones deliver impressive nutrients to the nail, boosting resilience against chips and scratches, whilst providing long term shine and more vibrant polish colours.

The addition of Camellia Seed Oil (natural antifungal) nourishes and hydrates the skin and cuticles.

Additionally SCOUT 2 in 1 base & treatment polish contains a natural nail hardener - Celery Seed Extract.

Research shows Celery Seed Extract (Apium graveolens) helps strengthen and smooth the nail surface, eliminate discolouration and keep your nails chip free for longer.

Celery Seed works by encouraging the production of essential nail elements, keratins and ceramides, that deliver an improved nail structure to reduce visible ridges and encourage improved nail thickness, hydration and hardness.

If applied correctly to clean, dry, oil/cream free and lightly buffed nails you should get 5-7 days of normal wear.

To get the best wear, apply even layers to clean, dry, oil/cream free and lightly buffed nails. Allow to dry adequately.
Polish can be removed with a normal acetate or acetone based remover or our Water based remover which is acetate and acetone free.
When using the water based remover we recommend saturating a cotton ball with the remover and applying to the nail for a few minutes then rubbing until polish is removed. As this is a water based remover it does require a little more effort and rubbing to remove polish. 

We recommend you apply One even coat of 2 in 1 base & treatment polish, followed by two thin, even coats of colour and one coat of the Super dry & shine top finish. Allow a couple of minutes drying in between coats.

We pretty much cover all shades with 45 colours including nudes, reds, shimmers, pinks, peaches and blues and regularly refresh the colour palette.
